The Tropic netlabel opened it’s doors just over a year ago. To celebrate this birthday, they have released a special compilation album one. Currently available is volume one, but the celebrations won’t stop. A second volume is due out in the coming days for more celebrating.

Cult of Ashand has launched a new discussion forum where, amongst the different projects that the members of Cult of Ashand are working on, users can also discuss general topics such as several musical styles, gear to make music with, and the labels that are associated with the members of the band.

Canadian artists Xyn and Pyxis have announced the start of a new netlabel with the name of Xynthetic. Goal of the label is to release electronica as free downloads with no Digital Rights Managements, under a Creative Commons license.
