Tropic netlabel exists for one year!

The Tropic netlabel opened it’s doors just over a year ago. To celebrate this birthday, they have released a special compilation album one. Currently available is volume one, but the celebrations won’t stop. A second volume is due out in the coming days for more celebrating.

On the doorstep of 2007, Electronic Music World netlabels is looking for one or more reviewers. Are you interested in doing regular reviews on this site, and do you think that you can be of help in the same style as the current reviews? Do you love netlabel music? Feel free to contact me then.

What I expect:

  • Regular reviews, at least one per week
  • Reviews written to certain guidelines (see current reviews)
  • Honesty. If a release isn’t good, you must dare to say so

    Cult of Ashand discusses

    Cult of Ashand has launched a new discussion forum where, amongst the different projects that the members of Cult of Ashand are working on, users can also discuss general topics such as several musical styles, gear to make music with, and the labels that are associated with the members of the band.

    Xynthetic netlabel announced

    Canadian artists Xyn and Pyxis have announced the start of a new netlabel with the name of Xynthetic. Goal of the label is to release electronica as free downloads with no Digital Rights Managements, under a Creative Commons license.
