dj toshio - the turntablist (Bump foot)
Groovy and soulful house on this latest gem from the Bump foot label. Japanese DJ Toshio is a star at making funky house tracks that have a lot of soul. Highly enjoyable, works well on the dancefloor, but also very nice to simply listen to.

This release, especially “Everything Is Gonna Be Allright”, reminds me of the early nineties, when annoying dissonant vocals were still accepted. I know free music doesn’t have to sound cheap, but unfortunately this release does.
