The album – available as CD and digital download – contains abstract melodic pieces, with beautiful textures. Adkins himself describes it as:

“Although I am interested in experimental sound I never start off from this
point consciously. To me my music is a reflection of my humanity, the people
around me and the friends who play on and record samples for albums. The
tracks that eventually emerge are a result of my thoughts, emotions and
relationships at that time.

The vinyl release is limited to 300 copies of transparent blue vinyl, and contains 5 tracks: Kinyoubi, The Humans Return, Indo Loops, Broken Synthesizers and Copy The Floppy.

This vinyl release is a co-release of Tokyo Ghost Island, the new label founded by Deceptikon, and Daly City Records. The vinyl can be ordered through the Deceptikon website.

Deceptikon also has a new 4-track EP coming up under the name Dkon. The EP will be titled “800 EP”. A release date is not yet set, but this release will also be available through Tokyo Ghost Island.

Moby describes the album as broken down melodic electronic music for empty cities at 2 a.m. Sounds interesting, makes me curious at least.

Moby has also released a free EP that is available for download. The EP contains three tracks: Be The One, Sevastopol and Victoria Lucas, and is titled Be The One EP. You can download the EP from the Moby website.

Moby is an electronic artist from the USA. He has been DJ’s since the 80′s and released his first single in 1991. This first single, ‘Go’, is still regarded as one of the biggest house classics of all time. Since then, Moby has released a variety of albums and singles, ranging in style from house to eurodance, and rock to lounge. Most successful album is Play, which was released in 1999 and contains hit singles such as Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad, Honey and Porcelain.

Soundcloud has recently changed their policy to start removing copyrighted content from their site. They’ve removed several DJ mixes and remixes already.

The move for Soundcloud to start removing the content is not a strange one, given the pressure of the big labels is probably enormous. It might become a big problem though, since the platform Soundcloud offers is ideal for hosting DJ mixes, remixes and original tracks. And of course it is a strange thing that things like DJ mixes and remixes, which can also be seen as a great way of promoting music, is seen as illegal content by the music industry.

Soundcloud is a music hosting service. It offers free and paid hosting for artists and DJ’s, including widgets for embedding the uploaded tracks in a website or on social networks. Soundcloud also offers integration with a big selection of desktop applications.
